Official title & purpose

Request for State Action – Maryland HB 1006 – Protecting Sensitive Locations Act and Maryland SB 977 – Maryland Data Privacy Act FOR the purpose of calling on the Maryland General Assembly to pass HB1006, the Protecting Sensitive Locations Act, to ensure that all citizens regardless of their immigration or citizenship status are safe in sensitive locations; and to pass SB977, the Maryland Data Privacy Act, to prohibit the sharing of personal information with immigration enforcement officials.
