Official title & purpose

Informational Hearing – Missing Persons – Policies and Procedures FOR the purpose of inviting representatives from the Baltimore City Police Department, the Office of the State’s Attorney for Baltimore City, including the Juvenile Division, the Maryland Department of Juvenile Services, the Maryland Department of Human Services, including Child Protective Services, Black and Missing, and other relevant stakeholders to brief the City Council regarding policies and procedures pertaining to incidents of missing persons; and requesting data concerning such incidents as well as data regarding staffing and turnover, including Baltimore City Police Department Missing Persons Unit data and district-specific data, for the past 5 years.
