Official title & purpose
Study and Report – Feasibility of Solar-Powered Streetlights FOR the purpose of requiring that the Department of Transportation submit a report to the Mayor and City Council that analyzes the feasibility of converting some or all of the City’s streetlights to be solar-powered, inventories the City’s current streetlight infrastructure and any associated costs, details the available technological options for solar-powered streetlights, and proposes a potential pilot program for installing solar-powered streetlights in certain neighborhoods or areas.
